Tea Time Tuesday Presents: Strawberry Wine

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Why hello there, lovelies,

Mischievous M here for another Tea Time Tuesday. This week I bring you another awesome one-shot, "Strawberry Wine" by the fantastic SydneyAlice.

I liked this particular one-shot for a couple of different reasons. One of the first reasons was because it didn't go directly to that HEA. No offense to HEA, I love it. It started off as serene-like with a hint of mystery, something that always gets me hooked, and as you go on reading you can really connect with the story itself: love and life.

The piece is a sweet, and lemony, story with Bella and Edward. Bella is staying with her dad in the Swan Farm when Charlie hires a new farmhand, Edward Cullen. They start falling in love with each other even though Bella's dad tries to keep them from going too far. After a night together, they try to make it work as they go their seperate ways, but life is inevitable. Yet, when life comes into play, it has it's own way of fixing things again.

~ * ~

The next morning, we were giggling as we walked hand-in-hand along the path back toward the house. We were so wrapped up in each other that neither of us noticed my father sitting on the front porch – with his rifle lying across his lap.

"You're fired," my father glared at Edward. "But that's the least of your worries."

"Dad…"

"She's seventeen," Charlie growled as he quickly rose from his rocking chair. "Seventeen years old. Did you know that?"

Edward limply dropped my hand. "You're seventeen?"

"Yes," I whispered softly.

"But you're going to be a freshman in college," Edward said disbelieving.

"I skipped first grade," I offered quietly in explanation.

"Holy shit…"

"That's right," Charlie murmured gravely. "I suggest you get off my property before I call the police. Or shoot you. Take your pick."

Edward's eyes flashed with fear before he took my hand in his. "I love her, Charlie."

"Sure you do," my father grunted as he pulled the rifle barrel closer to his waist.

"Wait a damn minute!" I screamed. "First of all, the police won't do a thing because the age of consent in Washington is sixteen years old!"

"How do you know that?" Edward whispered hopefully.

"Wikipedia," I muttered under my breath.

"The age of consent in my house is higher," my father grumbled. "I don't give a damn if you're thirty. You are my daughter, and a boy should treat you with respect. Dragging you home at dawn isn't being respectful."

"Daddy, I love him."

"You don't know what love is," Charlie growled as held the gun a little tighter. "You're just a kid."
"I know that I love him," I replied calmly, and Edward squeezed my hand. "He loves me, and in a couple of weeks there will be thousands of miles separating us. Please let us have these last few weeks together."

This sobered him immediately, and he lowered the rifle. "You'll still go to school?"

"Of course," I whispered. "I never considered otherwise."

His gaze then turned to Edward. "You'll be respectful and take care of her?"

"I promise."

My father sighed heavily and finally lowered his rifle.

"You're still fired," he grunted, before walking through the screen door and slamming it shut. We both exhaled the breaths we'd been holding before dissolving into a fit of giggles.

~ * ~

Did I mention I squee'd a couple of seconds into the story?

Yep, I really did.

The one-shot caught my attention right away and kept it all throughout. So if you like fluff and a hint of lemony goodness, then this is a good read for you. Not to mention is very well written and will get you hooked. So stop by and give "Strawberry Wine" a chance and leave a nice review for SydneyAlice. You won't be disappointed.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for Wicked Wednesday!

Tea Time Tuesday Presents: Blood And Power

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Blood and Power by lanacullen21

Why, hello there, lovelies

Mischievous M here for another round of Tea Time Tuesday! This week I bring you an awesome story, like always, and the first crossover featured for Tea. Yep, a crossover. This is the first one I ever stumbled upon, actually. Now don't worry, there's still plenty of Twilight in here, but simply with a twist. This particular story combines Twilight and The Covenant.

Starts off with a seemingly normal beginning and then BAM! the two stories have suddenly mixed. You may have seen the movie, but it certainly doesn't mean you know where the story is going to go. Not to mention add a little romance and action, and you've got yourself something good. You have your main story line and then the underlying plots written right in. And, in the author's own words:

Edward Cullen and his coven move to the small town of Ipswich, Massachusetts where secrets run dark. They come in contact with Isabella Danvers and her brothers, but is that the most of their worries when a series of murders occur?

~ * ~

We arrived at Spenser Academy only to be gawked at as usual. My family and I were used to it so we acted like there was nothing new about all the attention. I could hear the thoughts flowing through the minds of our audience.

"They are so beautiful!"

"Those must be the Cullens."

"They've got looks that could rival Caleb and his gang."

None of the thoughts interested me except for the last. Who the hell was Caleb and exactly what kind of gang did he have? I didn't think much of it as I headed to my homeroom with Alice. The first few classes went y as they usually did at each school, boring and time consuming.

My brothers and sisters and I were all situated around our new lunch spot in the cafeteria when it happened. I was hit with the most sensual, delectable scent on the air. It was strawberries and freesias combined into one appetizing blend. I turned to see whom the smell belonged to only to lay my eyes on God's most perfect angel. In the entrance way of the cafeteria stood a petite girl with long, dark brown hair that cascaded around her like a silk curtain. She wore the usual attire that everyone else did except for the knee length plaid skirt, white blouse, and navy blue sweater vest seemed to suit her better. It clung to her natural curves, exposing her feminine physique to everybody. Her skin was quite pale and if it hadn't been for the fact that I already smelled her blood pulsing through her veins, I would have assumed she was one of us. However, something about her seemed a little deeper beneath the dark brown eyes and the rolled up sleeved, navy blue blazer.

She seemed….mysterious.

"Edward, what are you staring at?" Alice questioned through mental communication. I turned in time to see Alice glance at the girl, a bright smile playing on her lips. "Oh. I see. My dear brother has a crush."

"I do not have a crush," I hissed out loud. The others stared at me in surprise while Alice giggled annoyingly.

"Eddie's got a crush!" Emmett shrieked like a little girl. "Wow, about time! I thought you were gay!" I growled and was about to leap across the table and rip his throat when I heard a melodic voice. I turned back to see my angel had spoken to a curly haired man who was caressing her cheek. I growled again. Looks like I've found someone else to kill in place of Emmett.

I was very aware that my family as well as the rest of the student's in the cafeteria had also stopped to examine the pair. The angel slapped the man's hand away, but I noticed how she held a small smirk in place. Why wasn't she offended or nervous or scared of this weasel? Was he her boyfriend? I could feel my undead, cold heart breaking at the seams.

"Don't touch me, Aaron," she stated firmly.

"Come on, Bella. I know you want it as much as I do," the man replied cockily. Through my fury, I was actually elated to hear her name. Bella. Beautiful in Italian. It was perfect for the goddess. Jasper threw me a questioning expression which I shrugged at. It was a little awkward having a brother who could feel everything I was feeling.

"I don't think she wants anything," another deep voice entered. I looked up to see four men now surrounding her. An olive skinned, dark haired man had spoken and was glaring at the sex offender.

"Wow! Some action. Now that's what I'm talking about!"

I pushed Emmett's stupid thoughts aside and went back to watching the scene. "Or what, Danvers?" Aaron questioned the taller male.

"Or we'll beat the shit out of you," a blonde spoke up from beside Bella. He had a lazy arm wrapped around her shoulders and was smirking at the other man in a daring way. I didn't like the way he was touching her at all, but I was glad someone stopped Aaron from harassing her some more.

Aaron licked his lips before jabbing a finger in the dark man's chest. "This isn't over, Caleb."
Caleb? I had heard of him from someone's thoughts earlier. Him and his gang. Wait, was this angel apart of his "gang". I contemplated this as I watched the four of them move over to the lunch line.

"Can you hear Bella's thoughts, Edward?" Alice asked. I concentrated and realized with shock that I couldn't. My eyes widened even more so when I couldn't hear the four men's minds either. I managed a weak head shake to answer her.

"What do you mean you can't hear her?" Rosalie hissed. I glared back at her.

"As in I. Can't. Hear. Her," I said slowly, emphasizing each word. "I can't hear those four with her either." They all gasped at the news. I heard someone speaking about Bella and I could tell the others did too as we all fell silent to hear the conversation. My eyes landed on a blonde girl, whom I had discovered was the new girl, Sarah Wenham, and a tanned girl. A male was seated next to the two and I knew he was the other new student, Chase Collins. I couldn't hear his thoughts either. What the hell was going on?

"Who was that?" Sarah asked.

Kate glanced over to where Sarah was looking. She looked at Bella and then back to Sarah. Her thoughts were nothing but kind ones of my sweet angel. "That is Isabella, but she prefers Bella. She's the center of every girl's envy and every man's object of affection."

"She's friends with Caleb and the guys?" Chase asked. Kate shook her head.

"She's Caleb's younger sister. They're a year apart."

"Is she single?" Chase asked and I refused the urge to snap as I leaned on the edge of my seat. Kate giggled.

"Yep. But she's not a big dater. Her and Reid were a thing for a little bit, but nothing too serious." The threesome fell silent and I couldn't help but gawk at Bella as I watched her plump lips nibble on an apple.

Oh dear god! I had fallen hard for a human girl!

~ * ~

See?

They totally crossed.

What I love about this story is that there's always an underlying plot underneath that comes to light. You think you know, but you don't. Plus, Bella playing the mystery card with Edward is a definite win. That and she's not the helpless kind of girl, and who doesn't love that?
So what are you still doing here? Go and show lanacullen21 and her story some love. Blood and Power is a good read.

Don't forget to tune in for Wicked Wednesday!

Tea Time Tuesday Presents: A Picture Is Worth Many Words

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Why hello there, lovlies,

Mischievous M here for another Tea Time Tuesday! This week I bring you a series of one-shots that were originally written for the Twilight Twenty-Five and written by our very own Vixen V; A Picture Is Worth Many Words.

To throw in a little insight, for those who don't know, the Twilight Twenty-Five is a challenge where you get 25 prompts. In those 25 prompts you must write 25 drabbles and/or one-shots inspired by said prompts in the time of three months.

I can tell you exactly what I like about these pieces of writing without beeating around the bush. They're raw and that is the best tool you can have, especially if you know how to use it just right, and she really does know how. They leave you with a smile, a grin, a heartache of various emotions and teased. Hey, I call it like I see it and I love it.

~ * ~

I wanted this to be over. She didn't have to do this, but she wanted this. I couldn't stand to see her agony. How I wish to take the pain away.

Although I hate seeing her suffer, selfishly, I wanted this as well.

I wanted her forever.

Thump, thump, thump…

As the last seconds ticked by, my anxiety and excitement upped; different scenarios running through my head.

Thump.

Her heart stopped, leaving a deafening silence in the room. I waited for any reaction.

When she opened her eyes, I stared into the most alluring red eyes I had ever seen.

~`~`~`~`~`

I grunted as I searched my closet for Bella's baby pictures. I knew they were somewhere around here. I accidentally drop a manila envelope, the contents falling out. "Goddamnit."

I should clean soon. Bending over for it, my heart sped up as I recognized the peach-colored ribbon that was gently tied around a stack of letters. No.

I caressed them, remembering back to a time when I was happy with my love. Our love once so strong was just history now. Tears stung my eyes. "Oh Renee," I whispered and began reading the letters, my love for her intensifying tenfold.

~`~`~`~`~`~`

I brought her body flush to mine, needing to feel all of her. My mouth connecting to her nipple. I nibbled, tugged and sucked, teasingly. "Please Edward," she begged. It took all my strength not to fuck her senseless in that moment.

I slipped my hand in her panties, and into her heated core.
Fuck. At the contact, she bucked her hips. "So fucking wet," I growled.

I rubbed, bring her higher and higher, closer to the edge. I kissed her hard and thrust my fingers inside her. She fisted my hair, moaning at my ministrations.
This is about her.

~ * ~

See? I told you. Totally teased.

The one-shots get better and better as you keep reading, which is not hard to see because Vixen V is a really good writer.

Like I said, she uses a rawness to write certain emotions or leave you hanging and you gotta love her for that. So go on! Go read her awesome drabbles and don't forget to leave ohmyitsv some love!

And come back tomorrow for some Wicked Wednesday fun!

Love,

Tea Time Tuesday Presents: Ready Made Family

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Why hello there, lovelies,

Mischievous M here for another Tea Time Tuesday. This week I bring you another awesome story, "Ready Made Family". Right off the bat, I fell in love with it. It's kind of hard not to, especially with Daddyward and an adorable pair of twin boys. If you like a good story with an edge of mystery and a smart ass Bella then this is for you. It certainly teased you with a good plot and left you wanting more. Plus, Edward's tender side trying to win Bella's heart is heart warming so there's enough fluff to go around.

And, in the author's own words, the summary:

After meeting twin bronze haired little boys Bella is forced to come to terms with her past. Can she accept and forgive her past and see what's in front of her to seal her fate . . .

~ * ~

After Angela walked away, Bella looked back down to the boys holding her legs in an iron vice. She ran her hands through their hair again studying them a little. She didn't know what to say as they held onto her for dear life.

"Hey there. What are your names?" she asked in a soothing tone. When they didn't answer she looked around to see if she could see anybody looking for the two small boys.

She didn't see anyone that looked like they lost their children.

"Can you tell me how old you are?" she coaxed rubbing their heads softly. She got no answer from either of them they just gripped her tighter.

"Did you lose your mommy?"

"We don't have a mommy." The one on the left said.

Their grips around her legs loosened as they both looked up at her. Their bright green eyes shinning up at her. She thought that they were the most adorable boys she had ever seen. She was instantly taken with just one look.

Bella reached down to take one of them in her arms, but all he did was hugged her tighter and start to cry. After a couple tries she finally pried him off her and picked him up into her arms; he stopped crying realizing she wasn't going to leave him.

After she got the first little boy settled she reached her free hand down for the other one. With a little coaxing, she finally had both boys in her arms.

"Where are you taking us?" Asked the one in her left arm. Bella thought he seemed to be the least shy.

"To find your daddy."

"Please don't leave us." Cried the shy on the right.

Bella sighed. She gazed at their faces for a moment. They looked to be about three or four years old and had messy bronze hair. When she looked into their eyes, she saw hope staring back at her through vibrant emerald eyes. But she also saw sadness; sadness that she might leave them. She couldn't bear to see either one of them so sad and crying.

"How about some ice cream, hmmm?" their faces brightened up and she could see that they each had one adorable little dimple and the cutest crooked smiles she'd ever seen.

She went inside
Brusters and got the boys each a scoop of ice cream. After she paid for it, she sat with the boys at a table in the front of the ice cream parlor. She figured that if anyone was looking for them, at least they'd be able to see them out front.

"What's your name?"

"Bella." she replied sweetly. She was surprised he had been so bold as to ask because he was the quietest out of the two, "What's yours?"

"I'm Kyle and he's Kevin. We're twins." Answered the more out going one, she assumed.

"Well it's very nice to meet you both. Where is your daddy?"

"We don't know. We were looking at the toys then he wasn't there anymore. We looked everywhere, but we couldn't find him." Kyle answered as a tear escaped his eyes.

Bella leaned forward to wrap her arms around both of them, "Don't cry, we will find your daddy when you finish. Why don't we sing a song. Would you like that?" they both nodded eagerly still eating their ice cream.

"Pick a number."

"Seven!" They said at the same time.

"Okay, seven little monkeys jumping on a bed, one fell off and bumped his head. Momma called the doctor and the doctor said," The boys joined in with her, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

Just as they got to two little monkey, Bella heard a distressed and relieved velvet voice call out to the boys.

"Kyle, Kevin. Where have you been?"

When Bella looked up she saw the most beautiful and angry man she had ever seen. He was Adonis, alive and in front of her. His height had he craning her neck to see his beautifully concerned and angry face capped under a wild mound of fiery hair that matched the boys. Relieved emeralds frantically searched his childrens body's for harm. His muscles flexed as he shifted. Standing high above her. Towering.

He was built nicely.

"Hi, daddy." The boys said in unison not moving.

"You." He said looking at Bella. "You took my boys. Arrest her or something," he demanded turning to the mall rent-a-cop standing next to him. Bella just looked at him incredulously.

~ * ~

And you'll have to read the story to find out what's after that. You'll want to know what happens after that, trust me. Leads into one amazing story.

Don't want to spoil the rest of the story, but it's one worth reading and you won't expect what's behind every turn. So, going on, read the story. You won't regret it. And, as always, leave some love for MyLion.MyLamb. cause she deserves them.

Tune in tomorrow for Wicked Wednesday!

Love,

The Substitute brings you the story of the week : Once Bitten, Twice Shy

Finally, life has managed to catch up with all of us. Therefore none of us managed to post in time. Instead of just posting a sexy story for 'Wicked Wednesday', I'm bringing you the story of the week.

This is the first time, we've ever done something like this and our standards are naturally high. The fic must meet all requirements and must fit in each category. I didn't even have to think about it, because there is one story that can make me laugh, go 'aw', pant and even cry. And that story is 'Once Bitten, Twice Shy' by lifelesslyndsey.

A bitter vampire, who can't let go of his past as an angel, moves into a cat-infested home. On his search for supplies, oddly enough, for the stray cats, he runs into Bella. She instantly recognizes him for what he is and verbally acknowledges him, not even caring whether or not he will kill her for the slip.
Bella isn't the shy girl we know from before. Life has hardened her and now, she is a won't-take-shit-from-no-one-so-cut-the-bullshit tough girl. That is, if she even cares. Because indifference is high on her list of characteristics as well. Sarcastic remarks are not uncommon, when it comes to her and to Peter, she is an enigma.

He has been alone for too long, and his social skills are limited to visiting the sick in order to convince them to freely offer themselves as his next meal. Noble, but to Peter it will never be enough. He was once a creature of God, an angel who served his Lord obediently and lived for centuries with the morals and knowledge, that now condemn him. Besides those limited human contacts, he talks to one special cat; a small, ugly, wrinkly thing that lovingly gets named Peen by Bella.  Even though Peter originally named him Cat.

After that encounter at the grocery store, Peter becomes intrigued by the human that finds it necessary to put up surveillance around her house and obsessively scrubs her floors, while popping pills like candy. Of course, he doesn't stay undetected and when Bella invites him in, a strange friendship grows between the odd pair.

A road trip will only strengthen the bond that has already been formed. Although both scarred and troubled, they are complete opposites of each other. And in each other, they find their missing pieces. They find love.
But will they get their happy ever after?

____

I had found that Bella was a Toucher with a capitol 'T'. She was one who touched as often as she wanted to, and loved to be touched in return like some sort of affection starved abandoned cat. And I would know, now wouldn't I? The first few weeks were rather disconcerting, so often did I find her suddenly in my expansive personal space. But she popped that fucking bubble in a heart beat. Soon, I was only all to fucking happy to obliged. It was nice touching something you weren't going to kill in a few minutes, I had to admit. She smiled, and leaned into my hand, and I forced myself to viscously stomp down the happy-growly feelings that that insisted on burning inappropriately inside me. Now was not the time. Never was the time to burn for Bella. Those were sins meant for mortal men alone, and not identity challenged Vampires Angel hybrids, who found themselves on the bad side of God by a series of unfortunate circumstances.

"I'm waiting for you to say 'May the power of Christ compel you!'" She giggled, looking up at me from around my wrist.

"What?" I blurted out, tearing my hand away."What? No. Uh...I brought your favorite." Well wasn't that smooth? Of course she wasn't talking in the literal fucking sense. I needed to get my shit together.
She peeked up at that, "Karmel Sutra?"

I held up the ice cream, grimacing at the name. Humans. They were all heathens. I was, at this point, no better of course. Bella had done me a world of bad, and I couldn't find it in myself to regret it. As long as I kept on the right line of Mild Sexual Deviant, I could live with my new and inappropriate thoughts. "And the pickle chips you like, you weird little freak."

"Says the vampire to the human," She said in a sing song voice, turning the key and grabbing up her fallen purse. "Tuesdays suck harder then a well paid prostitute."

"You say that every Tuesday." I reminded her, chucking her food-crap on the breakfast bar. The kitchen smelled of bleach and Windex, and not a little blood."Did you cut yourself on something?"

Bella's shoulders tensed, the only tell in her occasional obliteration of the whole truth. I never got the feeling she was lying to me, more that she was omitting details. But I couldn't bring myself to pry. She'd tell me what she wanted to anyway. I was as happy with our situation as I was going to get, considering I spent a large portion of it in a constant fucking state of confusion. And hard-ons.

____

When she kissed me this time, it was different from the frantic kisses pressed to my face, or the kiss shared in her drive way a month ago. She kissed like she meant it, with passion and fury, and insinuating hands digging into my hair. I could feel her tears on my face as she kissed me harder, legs wrapping around my waist. I had never done this before, how had I never done this before? But I knew, had it been any other, any one besides Bella, it would not have been the same.

"Never, ever scare me like that again," She breathed, and I wiped away her tears with my finger tip.
"Why are you crying?" I asked, because I really didn't know, and that scared me, and this scared me, her in my lap, and me in her bed, and the smell of blood and death, and Walter fucking Freedmont still heavy in the air. She clung to me harder.

"I'm crying?" She asked, touching her face, and a little smile turned up her lips, "I...I haven't cried in years."
"Why now?" I whispered, because she whispered, even in the empty house, as if speaking out loud would ruin the strange kind of trance we had found ourselves in.

"I...I can't lose you too." She murmured, "Your suppose to be invincible, your not suppose to leave me. Don't leave me."
"I won't," I promised, resting my chin on her head, "All this..."I began to say, but I didn't know what the fuck to say, so I stopped, but I had already spoken, already broke the string that bound us to the moment.
"Oh," She blushed, attempting to scramble back and off my lap, but I held her anyways, and would continue to do so till I could no longer, "Um...I'm sorry...I know...it makes you uncomfortable."
"I'm not uncomfortable," I assured her, "Confused...I don't...what does this mean? For us...this is...Very friendly."I finished lamely, but she seemed to understand. "This is-"

"I like you." She interrupted, looking me dead in the eye, "And I haven't liked anything in a very long time. I haven't been...capable of liking. Of hating. Of feeling anything. But I feel for you, even through all the pills and the...walls...I've built and last night was just to fucking scary to pretend that what I feel is purely...friendly. Thats why I was afraid of getting of the pills...if I like you now...but I'm mortal, I don't have forever, and I didn't want to lie to myself, and I'm sorry...I know that you don't-"

"I like you too." And hadn't I said as much to Cat just a month ago? "I've never liked anything. Anything at all. And your confusing, and your rude, and loud, and messy, and you have some serious OCD issues, and I like you, and I miss you more then I should when I go home...and..." I tapered off, suddenly uncomfortable by my verbal vomit of admittance.

She grinned against my mouth as she spoke, "We like each other."
"Apparently," I murmured back, allowing the happy-growly feelings burn as hot as they wanted inside me, finding no need to viciously stomp them down into nothing, "A Vampire with an identity crisis, and a jaded, medicated human, each with a laundry list of idiosyncrasies."
"What a pair we make," She smiled.

___

"You're not supposed to tuck in the shirt. You look like a band geek. A sexy hot band geek, but that's not the point. Only band geeks and IT people tuck dress shirts into jeans." Bella stepped forward, pressing against my back and unceremoniously shoving her hands into my pants, to pull my shirt loose.

There was no way on Gods green, over-populated, populated earth I was going to admit that the proceeding erection was in any way, shape or form, my fault.
She was the one who shoved her hands in my pants.

And there it was in three point eight seconds, my freakishly hard dick, clearly visible in the tight jeans, reflected in eight fucking mirrors. I could feel Bella's mouth curl up into a smile as she pressed her face into my back, and damn that felt good. I could feel my wings shudder beneath the skin as Bella's hand slid slowly out of my pants, her palms hot against my stomach.

The words fell out of my mouth faster than I could fathom. I was fairly sure that I had said them before I had even thought them, but the point was, I had said them. They had been said.
"Dressing room. Now."

She had my hand in hers, tugging me along before I could register that I had just propositioned Bella in public. And that she was down for it. As if she wouldn't be.
It was Bella we were talking about.

I let her man handle me, bending to her every push and pull, till I found myself behind the dressing rooms locked doors, seated and mounted. Bella's mouth was on mine, hot fingers scrambling at my buttons. She toes off her ballet flats against my shins, knees hugging my thighs tightly. Her urgency was contagious, and I had to fight myself not to rip her shirt of her body, tugging up at the hem instead till she raised her arms. Her bra was the same midnight blue as the damned silk boxers. She reached around; one hand unclasping it as I slid it from her arms, dropping it to the floor.

It was frantic, the keen awareness that we could be caught, caught up in the electricity that always seemed to crackle between us. We grasped at each other, always touching like it was the first time and the last, like we hadn't just gotten off on our mouths and tongues and fingers hours before. She ground down on me, hips moving in torturous pulsing circles. The silk was maddening, combined with the heat of her body. My cock was still caught on my thigh, wrapped in sweet, delicious friction; I couldn't help but buck upwards as she pushed down.

It was a parody of sex, but damn it felt good. I wanted…fuck, I wasn't sure what I wanted, but the pressure and the heat it was too much and not enough. I could feel the dampness of her jeans against my own, and I felt myself shudder, hands grappling to pull her close. I couldn't touch enough of her, couldn't reach enough of her when it felt like she was tearing through my skin and crawling up into my soul, where all her kisses felt hotter, and her touch ripped through me like the sweetest kind of pain.

Bella pushed at the arms of my button-up, shoving it hastily from my shoulders. I worked a frantic hand between us, yanking the button and zipper loose and pulling my cock free of the silky confines of the boxers. I groaned at the sheer, instantaneous relief. Bella slid from my lap, half way to sinking to her knees, when I caught her at the hip, hands sliding around to cup her ass.

Oh fuck, I wanted...
Wanted.

Never one for prolonged eye contact, I looked away as I slid the zipper of her worn-in jeans down, the sound screaming in my ears. Her hand was warm, wrapped around my wrist like a question mark at the end of a question that wasn't asked out loud.
"I...want this."

____

If you are still not convinced, I don't know what will. All I can say is that you won't be able to get a grip on this story. Whenever you think you've got it figured out, something else happens to throw you off balance again. It will keep you interested, because of the way it is written and the well-timed surprises.
The story line is simply brilliant. The theme is original and interesting. The characters, although odd at first, will weasle their ways into your hearts and you will feel everything they do.
Not often has a story gripped me, like 'Once Bitten, Twice Shy' has done.
This story is a MUST-read! Go read it now!

That concludes this week's special. See you all on Monday.

Love,

Salacious S.

Tea Time Tuesday: The Letter

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Hey there, lovelies,

Mischievous M here for another awesome Tea Time Tuesday. This week I present you with a special one-shot. You see, it's not like the previous ones I've featured so far. It's a non-canon piece, and written by one of the GLoSP founders, The Letter. Now, you know I don't do anything that isn't an Edward and Bella pairing, behind the scenes or up front, but this little one-shot right here got past the gates. "The Letter" is a Bella and Peter pairing, something you wouldn't normally find, but it may as well be just as good as any and that's saying something coming from me. It's also an All Human piece, so if that's right up your alley you should definitely check it out.
Did I mention it was a winner of the Summer Lovin' Contest on Rogue Fanfic? Yep, it sure was.

Besides that it also won 'Best Alternate Universe All Human' in the Single Shot Awards.

In the author's own words:

Peter and Bella spend a summer together, seven years later, Bella thinks back of that summer long gone by and the love she lost as she reads a letter she never sent him.

~ * ~

I felt defeated again, not heartbroken, just defeated. I was always trying to get a grasp on my life and the men in it, but never succeeded. Questions infiltrated my mind, questions I didn't want to hear or think of. Was there something wrong with me? Why did they always hurt me? Why wasn't I enough? But the biggest question was : Why can't I give my heart fully? I knew it was a silly question. One I shouldn't be thinking at all. The answer was simple. I gave my heart once and I had never gotten it back.

Getting into my bedroom, I bent down to retrieve the little box I kept hidden there. I needed some connection to a time where I was perfectly happy and full of wonderful dreams for the future.

For years now, I had been swimming through muddy waters, trying to find that feeling I had felt only once in my life. An emotion so powerful and pure, nothing ever came close. My true love.
Taking the letter out of the box and laying it down on my bed, I ironed the letter carefully with my hands, before picking it up gently and reverently.

I fingered the charm bracelet he had gotten me that summer and played with it absentmindedly as I read over the letter for the umpteenth time since I wrote it.

Peter, my love,

It has been exactly six days, four hours, eleven minutes and thirty two, oh make that thirty three, seconds since I last saw you and I'm already missing you like crazy. My heart feels empty without you. It almost seems as if I left all of me behind and now it's waiting for me to come back to you so I can claim it as my own again.

I listen to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw as they sung about their love and I wonder if you remember that night in your pick up truck. Do you remember us singing to that song as we drove down to the lake? I can't stop thinking about that night. The night we laid it all out there. Whenever I close my eyes, I can see you again. I can see you at our lake, looking at me like you did that night. Your beautiful blue eyes see right into my soul as you hold me tight, and make promises of a future. A future that's brighter and more beautiful than any star gracing the midnight sky above us.

I can still see you standing by your truck, just like when I first laid eyes on you. I can even feel the excitement and small tingle of fear again, just from memory. The draw I felt towards you was instant, and more powerful than anything I had ever experienced before.

I can remember us in your father's shed, where you gave me the best gift in my life, yourself; in return I gave myself to you as well. At that moment in time, we were completely one; heart, body and soul.

Every part of me craves to be with you again and believe me, my love, I will find a way to be reunited with you again. Whether it takes me a week or a decade, I will experience your love again.

I miss you.

With all my heart,

Bella Marie Swan.

Holding the letter to my heart, almost feeling the written words seep through my skin and into my heart, I closed my eyes and let my mind wander back to that time.

~ * ~

If you didn't shed a tear, or at least sigh, then what the hell?

Just kidding. But you'll really shed a tear once you read it.

Out of the "hundreds" of non-canon stories I've read, this one tops them all. It has such sweet scenes of summer love and also the real life angst too that balances it out. Not to mention, it also made me cry like a baby. All throughout the one-shot. If there's any non-canon one-shot I could rec, it would be this one.

Tea-Time Tuesday: Such Great Heights

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Hey there, lovelies,

Mischievous M here for another Tea Time Tuesday. This week I bring you Such Great Heights by the lovely SydneyAlice, who I featured weeks before. This story right here was the one that made me love Daddyward and All Human settings too, so if any of those two are your favorites then you'll love this. Of course it's a Bella and Edward fic, but you get plenty of other characters thrown into the mix. It's not your usual they meet, they hook up, and HEA, not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you. What I like about this story is that it's simple, yet very well thought out. Plus, there is lots of cuteness and fluff hidden behind every corner. With an adorable little boy, Riley, in between all that what else could you ask for?

And in the author's very own words:

Edward Cullen is in desperate need of a nanny after his wife walks out on him and their five-year-old son. Bella Swan is a teacher with no job prospects. Can she find her true place in the world while helping father and son overcome their pain?

~ * ~

"I can't believe I'm doing this," I mumbled as I punched the button for the 27th floor. Rose wasn't lying when she said the building was a high-rise. She did fail to mention that my new home was a penthouse. Not that it mattered. From the outward appearance and marbled lobby of Brookstone Towers, I doubted there were any apartments in this building that would be less than spectacular.

What the hell was I doing here?

Oh yeah. I needed a job.

Finding the penthouse was easy enough. The elevator opened right in front of the front door. Taking a deep breath, I readjusted my blouse and smoothed my hair as I exited the elevator. Pulling my suitcase behind me, I tentatively knocked on the door.

"Miss Swan?" A lovely, older woman greeted me with a smile. She was wearing a maid's uniform – pressed and tidy. Her graying hair was in a bun. She was probably in her fifties, and she reminded me of my Grandma Swan. I liked her immediately.

"Yes, but please call me Bella."

"Bella," She smiled warmly as she stepped back. "My name is Carmen. Won't you come in? May I take your coat and bag?"

"No, thank you," I replied as I stepped inside. I saw her face falter, and I was instantly contrite. Perhaps she was required to be hospitable upon greeting visitors? I certainly didn't want to get her into trouble. "I'm sorry. Would you be more comfortable taking my coat and bag?"

"Yes, Miss…I mean, Bella. I'd be happy to take them and then show you to your room before you meet Mr. Cullen and little Riley."

I thanked her as she led me through a long, winding hallway. Not a fingerprint on the pristine white walls. No toys laying around. Just the hallway was meticulously clean. I could only imagine the rest of the house. I looked for any sign of life – any indication that a small child resided here. But every door in the house was closed, and I wondered if that was because Mr. Cullen liked his privacy or because the house was symbolic to their moods. Closed-off. Cold. Unwelcoming.

"Here you are," Carmen smiled as she pulled my suitcase into a bedroom and that was bigger than my apartment's living room and bedroom combined. The bed was covered in a beautiful cranberry comforter and assorted pillows graced the mattress. Other than that, the room was completely bare except for the bedside table and dresser. There were no pictures on the stark-white walls. If the comforter hadn't been on the bed, there would be no color at all in the room.

Cold. Unwelcoming.

"I'll leave you to unpack. You'll let me know if you need anything at all?"

"I will," I smiled. "Thank you, Carmen."

"It's so good to have you here, Bella." Her voice was low, as if she was afraid someone might be listening. "I'm so hoping this….works out. For everyone involved."

"Me too. Thank you."

With a warm smile, she closed the door behind her. I sighed as I opened the double doors to the massive walk-in closet. I flipped on the light and began unpacking the week's worth of clothes I brought with me. While Rosalie was confident this arrangement would last, her brother had insisted that I only bring the bare essentials for now.

"Less to pack-up if this doesn't work out," Rosalie had reasoned. "Just go with the flow, Bella. Edward isn't optimistic, but can you blame him?"

Four nannies in one month.

After accepting the position, Rose had given me the lowdown on the babysitters. Two girls had each lasted exactly one week. Deciding gender was the problem, Mr. Cullen had then hired a male nanny. He'd been an older gentleman who had forgotten to place Riley in his booster seat before driving him home from school. Right through a school zone. The patrolling officer had given the nanny a ticket. He, in turn, had handed Mr. Cullen the citation, and Mr. Cullen had shown him the door. The final nanny was a college student. During their very first lunch, Riley had tossed a bowl of spaghetti over the man's head. He had apparently bawled like a baby, and he was packed and gone within the hour.

Rosalie promised that Riley isn't usually a behavior problem. He was just a little boy lost – his mother leaving him behind with a father who worked long hours and wasn't accustomed to being both mother and father to a five year old child. Of course, this child was acting out.

And his father. Would he be relieved to see me? Of course, he was hesitant about this arrangement. He'd hired four others just like me in the past thirty days. I was prepared for that. But would he be cold? Indifferent?

If the appearance of this penthouse was any indication, that possibility was there.

A knock on my door interrupted my mental musings.

"Bella, Mr. Cullen is in his study. If this is a good time for you, he'd like to meet you and introduce you to Riley."

"Of course." I closed the closet door and noticed my reflection in the mirror. Suddenly, I was very nervous. "Carmen, do I look okay?"

"Oh, you're lovely, Bella."

"Thank you," I blushed. "But I meant my attire. I'm not sure what I'm expected to wear?"

She smiled. "Mr. Cullen will explain all of that, but I assure you, casual wear is fine. Unless of course, there's a dinner party or a function in which you're asked to attend. But again, he will explain those things."

Dinner parties? What kind of functions?

I was going to kill Rosalie.

With one last look in the mirror, I followed Carmen down the hall and into the massive living room. The décor was very contemporary and, of course, immaculate. A grand piano rested in a corner that was flanked by windows overlooking the terrace. A plasma screen – at least fifty inches – graced the far wall. Intricate pieces of art were scattered about, and oil paintings surrounded the room. The place was like a museum, and I was literally afraid to sit down on the leather sofa. I glanced around, looking for any sign that a child actually lived here. But there was nothing. No coloring books. No toys. No stuffed animals.

"You look confused," Carmen noted as we made our way toward the study.

"I was just wondering…, does Riley play? I haven't seen anything so far that would even signify that a child lives here."

"Mrs. Cullen required Riley to play in his room," Carmen explained, her tone hushed and clipped. It was obvious the sweet maid wasn't a fan of the wife, either. "Playing wasn't exactly encouraged until Mr. Cullen came home."

"Mr. Cullen likes to play with his son?" This surprised me. And encouraged me. "What do they do?"

"Oh, they paint. Read books. Color. Study French."

I stopped in my tracks. "French?"

"Yes. Riley is expected to be well-cultured."

"He's five! He's just learning English!" I snapped angrily and immediately covered my mouth with my hand. "Sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

Carmen chuckled. "I agree with you. You are going to be a breath of fresh air around here. I just know it. Here we are…"

Carmen ushered me into the study, another huge room that was lined with shelves full of books and journals. I felt as if I was standing in the middle of a library. I carefully walked around, letting my fingers trail softly against the spines of some of the books in the collection. My eyes flickered to the titles, and I was surprised to see some of my favorites.

I was in heaven, and I could just imagine pulling one from the shelf and hiding in my bedroom for hours as I lost myself in the pages.

"Miss Swan?"

His voice was soft like velvet, and I slowly peeled my eyes away from the books and settled them on quite possibly the most handsome man I'd ever seen. His eyes were brilliant emeralds. His jaw was chiseled. His hair was dark and neatly trimmed. He looked tired. Almost apprehensive. But he was still gorgeous.

And did I mention his eyes?

Rosalie neglected to tell me that her brother was sexy as hell.

Holy crap.

~ * ~

If that didn't get your attention, well then shame on you.

Just kidding.

Seriously, though, this fic is a great read it will leave you with tears. Some sad and some from joy. I know I shed both types, and I love that. Like I said, "Such Great Heights" has a very elegant style to it, but it doesn't fail to deliver a good plot. And the ending . . . well, I'll let you get to that on your own. That is, if you're willing to read on.

So go on and give the story a try. Don't forget to leave SydneyAlice a lovely review because she really deserves it. Tune in later on for Wicked Wednesday!

Tea-Time Tuesday: Strictly Business

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Hey there, lovelies,

Welcome to another Tea Time Tuesday! This week I'll be featuring a rather special story, Strictly Business, which was one of my first stories I ever read. I'm completely in love with it, and now I get to feature it here in the GLoSP blog. It has all those elements you'd like in a story: romance, humor, fluff, myster, and evil cliffhangers. The evil cliffhangers did it for me, personally. It's mainly an Edward and Bella story, but we certainly get views on the other's relationships plus a couple of others. That's all I'm saying for that without throwing out some spoilers. In the author's own words, the summary:

In a world of money, politics, and devilishly good looks, Edward, Jasper, and Emmett were on top of it all. That is, until they met their match: Bella, Alive, and Rosalie. Now it's the ultimate battle of the sexes for business, power, and above all: love.

~ * ~

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix

He started to laugh. A loud, obnoxious laugh. "I can't believe I fooled every one of you!"

"Can I hit him? Please, can I hit him!" yelled Emmett.

James stopped laughing and turned to Emmett. "Woah, there big guy. Let's be reasonable. Wouldn't want to deal with an injury lawsuit on top of everything else you have to worry about!"

Emmett growled and clenched his fist, but held them firmly at his side.

"You're scum, James, you know that?" said Alice in an icy voice. There was no hint of her usual light, tinkering tone in any of her venomous words.

James gasped dramatically. "Ali! That really hurt my feelings!" he said with a stupid, fake expression on his face. Alice's glare deepened.

"You know what James? You think you've won, but we all know that Rosalie, Alice, and I are the brains and the creators of this company. We started it and it's going to stay ours. We know that you have a partner working with you and we're going to find your partner and convince him to side with us. Your power right now is indefinite and completely ephemeral," I spat out.

James's smile disappeared and he looked at me with an eyebrow raised. "My partner? You're going to find out who my partner is and steal him away?" he said. A smirk returned to his face and he gave a loud laugh. "Oh this is just too funny!" he said as he barked out laughter.

"Oh my God! Emmett, if you don't punch him, I swear I will!" screeched Rosalie as she made a move towards James. Emmett quickly grabbed Rosalie and pulled her back. She struggled a little, but calmed eventually.

"I cannot believe you guys don't even know who my partner is yet!" said James, giggling like a little girl. He stopped and looked at me. Suddenly he pouted. "Oh Bella, this is going to kill you!"

"What are you talking about?" I seethed.

He looked at me and then looked at Edward. "You're all talk you know, Bella. You say you're going to find out my partner, but my partner's been right in front of you and you can't even figure that out. You say you're going to steal my partner, but you don't even realize that I've stolen your partner!"

"What the hell? Are you accusing one of us?" growled Jasper.

"Bingo! I knew you were a smart one Jasper!" said James with a big smile on his face. I wanted so badly to slap that smirk off his face.

"No one here would do anything like that!" said Alice.

"Oh? Really? No one? Then why is the person that I've secretly been working with all this time, the person who signed his name along with mine in this room right now?" said James. He looked around at us, all of us silent. "Don't believe me? Why don't we ask the man himself?"

~ * ~

Evil cliffhangers, right? I told y'all.

There written in such a way that you're finding yourself clicking the button to the next chapter without even noticing. Besides, we all secretly love them.

Besides the mystery element added in, it really has some rather sweet moments that just make me tear up cause I'm cool like that. Have I mentioned it's an All Human story, perfect for those who'd like a change from either the All Vampire or the Vamp/Human fics. So go and and five the story a try, you won't regret it. This is definitely one of those stories that will make you read it again, I know I did.

Go on now, and don't forget to leave Analgesic Kiss some love in a nice review. I think she deserves them. Come back and tune in tomorrow for Wicked Wednesday.

Tea-Time Tuesday: To The Bride, And Groom!

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Hey there, lovelies,

Mischievous M here for another (and a little late) Tea Time Tuesday for y'all. Instead of a one-shot, or a story, I decided to bring a two-chaptered story to light. This little piece here is a mix of fluff, which we all love, and humor. It should come as no surprise that it's a touch of Edward and Bella but just like last Tuesday, it comes from a little different point of view. In this case it's our teddy bear Emmett and empathic Jasper, where we get a chance to see them be brothers to Bella. Not to mention we get to see some laugh-worthy lines from them.

We start off with the reception after Edward and Bella's wedding with a nice little introduction that only Emmett can pull off. Of course. If y'all like to read from a different view, but still include our dear ol' couple, then this is for you.

~ * ~

I could see them all holding their breaths as I stepped up to bat. He had overlooked this in his plan to make both Jasper and I his best men. Now he was going to suffer. Bella's family, and the few humans from the hospital Carlisle invited grabbed food, and were settled down at their tables.

"And now we'll have the best mans speech." Alice announced, she was the Emcee. "Emmett?"
I grinned, and went to the podium, drawing all eyes to the front. I looked at the mic, and tried to get level with it, but it was set to Alice's height, so it was almost impossible. I finally brought it up to my height, while the crowd laughed, and Alice shot daggers at me with her eyes.

"Well, they're married. Chief Swan, you can put your gun away." I waited until the laughter died down to speak again. "Okay, so I'm supposed to tell you something about how Bella and Edward came to be together, or at least that's what Alice is threatening me to do..." 1...2...3. Count to three so the laughter can die out. "I can't tell you the whole story, but I can tell you the basics. Bella came to Fork's in the middle of the school year, so she unfortunately had to sit to Edward in class. Now, Edward, you see, hadn't drank his apple juice like a good little boy at lunch, so he wanted to bite her head off." All of the Cullen's, and Bella laughed. "Of course it didn't help that Bella stabbed him with a pencil-"

"I knew it!" Mike Newton cried.

Why did we invite him? Edward laughed, and I continued. "Anyways! Thing's were going as good as they could've. Edward turned from a grouchy, miserable, unfriendly, pariah, vampire, into a walking ball of untanned sunshine." I did jazz hands, while Edward glared. "Of course, they were hit by a walloping case of bad luck which was brought on by Bella falling down a couple flights of stairs, and out a window. Who new that someone could be that clumsy!" I shook my head in mock horror. "Bella, and Edward have made it through all odds, and in the end, they'll come out stronger than ever. I mean look at her! She's good enough to eat." I winked, and she blushed. "And Edward isn't that bad himself. He's always been a loner in the family. No soul to go with his. He had a shot at Rosie, and looked the other way. And now we know he was waiting for Bella. The Bonnie to his Clyde, the Juliet to his Romeo, the Buffy to his Spike... except Buffy was a lot more coordinated." No one in Bella's family noticed that I hadn't denied that Edward was a vampire.

~ * ~

I found this a while back and my first reaction to it were tears because, well, just look at that. Definite fluff there, plus add that tiny bit of brotherly love and I'm sucked in. I loved it, especially hearing another Cullen's thoughts on the matter. I love me some Cullens. Anyway, moving on. I think this is a great read if you need some cheering up or have some time to spare.

Now, don't forget to leave LemonySnickersBars some love. Tune in later for Wicked Wednesday with Scandalous S. Later.

Tea-Time Tuesday: My Brother And His Girlfriend

Hi there, lovelies,

Mischievous M here with another Tea Time Tuesday. This week I'll be presenting another one-shot, "My Brother And His Girlfriend." Y'all know the drill, this little piece right here is one of fluffness. I know I've always wondered what the other Cullen's thought of Edward and Bella's relationship, yes, even Rosalie. In this one-shot, we get to hear from Jasper during a certain situation he happens to witness between the couple.

If you love Jasper and don't mind an extra dose of cuteness from Eddie and Bells then this one's for you. Besides, who doesn't love a point of view from the Lord of the Emotions. You'll understand when you read.

~*~

I watched from the doorway as she opened her mouth, her eyes still closed. Edward gently slipped the small, plastic device between her lips, his eyes staring at the tiny screen. A few seconds later, it beeped, and his mouth fell into a deep frown. "One-oh-three." He muttered, taking the thermometer from her mouth and laying her back on the bed. Slipping past me, he stepped out into the hall and pulled out his phone, dialing Carlisle's number.

"Jazz, could you go sit with her while I talk?" He whispered, his eyes darting to the girl on the bed. "Just put your hands on her cheeks or her forehead- keep her cool." His expression changed slightly, and caution started to swirl around him. "Would you be okay with that?"

I nodded. "No problem." Carlisle picked up then, and they began to discuss the situation. I slowly stepped inside the room. It was incredibly warm and smelled as if Bella lived in there. Slightly worried now, I inched towards the bed, sitting on the edge as Edward had. She was extremely pale, more-so than usual. I put my hand on her forehead, and she sighed with contentment.

"So, what should I do?" Edward was saying from the hallway. He was still worried, but the incredible flood was tainted with relief.

"Just keep her cool." Carlisle was saying on the other side of the phone. "I'm with a patient right now, but if you'll give me thirty minutes, I'll bring by some medicine."

Edward sighed. "Thanks so much." and closed the phone, turning his attention back to Bella. He bit his lip (a habit he had picked up from his fiancee), contemplating something, and looked at me. "Jasper, do you think-" His brow creased. "Would you mind holding her for a minute?"
I was taken slightly aback, but nodded numbly.

"Thank you; I just need to take these blankets off the bed real quick." He moved to where I was sitting and smiled. "Don't worry, she won't bite."

Nodding, I slipped my arms under her and pulled her to me, standing up. She was so light! "God, how much does she weigh?" It felt as if there wasn't anything in my arms at all. If I had ever thought her fragile, it was now more than ever. I understood Edward's caution when he was with her, now, and it was scary how breakable she really was.

"Ninety-four," Edward said grimly, pulling the large comforter off the bed and laying it over his arm. Anger and self-hate began to roll off of him. "She was one-hundred and ten before all of this started."

I knew what he meant. Us leaving. Vampire wars. Risking your life every ten minutes.

~*~

Some insight into Edward and Bella's relationship given to us by cool, calm and collected Jasper. Yes, please. This one-shot was the one that had me searching for more. The fact that we get to see this through Jasper's thoughts instead of Edward's is a nice refresher, no offense to those other stories and one-shots. Apart from reading Jasper's thoughts on his brother and his girlfriend, this is a good and short piece to leave you smiling at the end.

Don't forget to leave some love for CuriosityKilledTheSquirrel. Tune in tomorrow for Wicked Wednesday with Scandalous S.

Tea-Time Tuesday: Love Lines

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:

Hey there, lovelies,

Mischievous M here for another Tea Time Tuesday. This week I'm proud to present this one-shot "Love Lines." I don't know about you guys, but I love reading a good one-shot in between stories. Most preferrably those that leave me with a warm feeling at the end. Yeah, I'm cool like that. It should come as no surprise that I chose a little E/B again. In "Love Lines" we get to share a peaceful, yet romantic moment with Edward and Bella. It starts with Bella showing off a peculiar talent and in doing so, finally convinces Edward that it was fate that brought them together.

For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss. Romeo and Juliet Act I, Scene V

~*~

"Read mine," I said abruptly, rolling toward her, propping myself on my left side.

Her cheeks instantly turned the most delicious shade of pink, tempting me, and I could hear her heartbeats increase ever so slightly, as if she was nervous.

"I'm not very good," she replied, her gentle caresses coming to an end as she fidgeted—a sure sign of apprehension.

I moved closer and met her gaze, all the while fighting off the urge to smirk up at her. Dazzling, she'd called it, and I loved her reaction of being dazzled. I widened my eyes, unleashing their full potential upon her and blindly reached for her hand again.

"Please?" I purred, making my voice as alluring as possible.

"Edward—I'm—really not that good," she was beginning to stammer. Yes, nearly there.
In the fraction of an instant I had changed my position, moving quickly to mirror her cross-legged pose, never breaking my eye contact with her innocent, chocolate-brown eyes.

"Please?" I pleaded again, resting my hands on her knees, slowly sliding them toward her thighs as I leaned in even closer.

Ah yes, the familiar fixed stare. "Yes," she whimpered and, though I loathed tearing my eyes from hers, I found better reward when I let my lips descend upon her throat.

I brought my hands up to her face, gently cradling her head in my hands, tilting it up slightly to give me better access to her delicious skin.

I kissed a familiar path along her jaw, breathing in the scent and taste of her, savoring the way she made me feel—that I could be good at this. I felt her fingers thread through my hair, guiding my mouth up to hers. I smirked against her lips as she inhaled sharply, her heart rate increasing steadily. She molded herself to my body and I did try to be gentle, but my eagerness and immorality was getting the better of me. Indeed if my heart was still beating, no doubt it would be racing by now.

She broke away, gasping for air, and I took the opportunity to cool things down. She had no idea how easily I could get carried away, no idea how she made me feel, and no idea how much I truly wanted her. I reached behind me for her hand, still fisted in my hair, and threaded my fingers through hers, drawing her wrist toward my mouth. I could feel the rush of the blood coursing through her veins, smell the aching sweetness beneath my lips—the scent I had memorized from the first moment we came into contact. Ambrosia, truly.

"Now I believe, Madam Swan that you need to see my palm," I murmured against her skin, regretfully tearing my lips away as I placed her hand back into her own lap.

~*~

You'll definitely be taken in with the ending and I'm always up for a good fluff scene. Plus, a little dazzling on Edward's part is the cherry on top. I like that you get to see Bella kicking some sense into Edward, he can be such a knuckle head sometimes, but we love him anyway.

Now go on, lovelies. I recommend this for a good read and especially if you you're waiting for an update on a story. It's fluffy, well written and short. Good combo, eh? Don't forget to leave Scarlet71177 some love.

Cruise in tomorrow for Wicked Wednesday with Scandalous S.

Tea-Time Tuesday: Everlong

Tea Time Tuesday Presents:
Everlong by Sydney Alice

Why hello there, lovelies,

Mischievous M here in this first Tea Time Tuesday. I'm proud to be to be presenting my first story, "Everlong." We all love the fluff and romance, add in Edward and Bella, and we've got one hell of a story. Finding one that has all the elements a girl can ask for, now that's hard. Lucky me that I came across this wonderful story. While I do like the fluff, Everlong has more than enough of those laugh-worthy scenes and golden lines you can certainly quote.

This story manages to draw you in with the mere Prologue. It starts off with Edward and a search we are quite familiar with; the search for a companion. Living with a family that have found their soulmates gets lonely and the fact that he's been searching for decades without avail, would bring sadness to anyone. What's eternity without someone to share it with? While Edward goes off in search of the one person destined for him, his family stumbles across a young Bella Swan, whom they saved from drowning, and instantly adore her; she becomes family.

As the Cullens fall even more in love with Bella, Edward can't help but resist. He fears the impending choice he'll have to make in the end, and whether that choice is entirely his blurs over. He questions himself before he even lays eyes on her: Could she really be the one?

"People are meant to go through life two by two. Tain't natural to be lonesome."
